Breathwork & Ice-bath Workshop with Aaron Moss

This workshop is for those who are wanting to find a new center at their edge. To find comfort beyond what’s comfortable. To test your meditative skills in an environment most wouldn’t want to go in to. In this workshop, we will explore the mechanisms of our physiological and psychological experiences, and guide them towards a greater sense of balance within ourselves through breathwork and an ice-bath immersion.

The first half of the workshop is a guided breathwork session. We will activate the sympathetic nervous system through a style of power breathing called Tummo--a Tibetan Buddhist practice meant to stoke your inner fire by rapid breathing follow by strategic holds to help to increase internal awareness and modulate the nervous system.

In the second half of the workshop we experience dip in an ice-bath. The cold stimulates our body’s fight or flight response, and we will learn to control this response by controlling our breath. Through this practice you’ll gain a greater ability to regulate yourself during extreme stress.
